By defining repair specifications that are intuitive and easy to follow by the construction teams offshore, repair programs can be undertaken on producing FPSO's with minimal impact on production and with further significant benefits to the integrity of the unit.

FPSO Hull Structural Integrity:
Using the IACS Enhanced Survey Procedure as the basis of it's integrity management methodology, MTL will develop a bespoke IM philosophy for your installation based upon our direct experience of 'on station' inspecting and repairing operational FPSO's.
Following the ESP directly can lead to ineffective inspections and a lack of focus on the areas of real concern - particularly in the early years of operation. Through sound experience, MTL assists the Owner, Operator and Classification Society to reach agreement on a sound inspection philosophy suitable for your Installation.
